Grade 3 Parodies at Westbrook Elementary School 2022

Brains That Will Think - Ms. J/Ms. B’s class parody of Surface Pressure (Encanto)

Verse 1:

I’m the smart one, I do planning

When you get smarter I’m expanding

I contro-ol, I’m demanding

The frontal lobe is always commanding

Cerebellum is how I’m landing

The amazing brain stem keeps me standing

Occipital lobe, always used around the globe

Temporal lobe helps with memory flow

Prechorus 1:

Inside your brain you can think like a

Mastermind in an undercover mission

Inside your brain

Have you ever been, “Yo I don’t wanna go to math class”

Inside the brain

I’m pretty sure it’s worthless if the brain can’t focus

A flaw or a crack, the pain in the brain

That breaks the mind’s focus

What breaks the mind’s focus

Chorus:

Brains that will think think think and will never stop, whoa-oh

Helps you remember everything you’re taught whoa-oh-oh-oh

Leave it to your mind, your mind works harder

Provide it all the choices that may be smarter

Where would you be without the brain at all, you would fall too

Noggins that will work work work till you know it all, whoa-oh

Helps you remember all the problems you will solve, whoa-oh-oh-oh

Hand it to your mind, your mind is stronger

See if it can think a little longer

What is the brain if it can’t do it all? If it halts…

Prechorus 2:

Inside your brain

You couldn’t walk or talk, it would be massive pain

Inside your brain

Your brain doesn’t quit even if you fall into a pit

Inside your brain,

It tells when to eat, it tells your heart to beat

It makes your bones grow, it helps your blood flow

You try to stop your bad thoughts but on and on it goes

Bridge:

But wait, if I could make this awful ache

Of reading small words it worsens the awful migraine

Or concussion, or all the loud noises

Instead we wish we had a cold ice pack

Keeps growing, exploding, all the the awful pain

Chorus:

Brains that will think think think and will never stop, whoa-oh

Helps you remember everything you’re taught whoa-oh-oh-oh

Leave it to your mind, your mind works harder

Provide it all the choices that may be smarter

Where would you be without the brain at all, you would fall to

Noggins that will work work work till you know it all, whoa-oh

Helps you remember all the problems you will solve, whoa-oh-oh-oh

Hand it to your mind, your mind is stronger

See if it can think a little longer

What is the brain if it can’t do it all?

Coda

No breaks, no aches, no mistakes

Our smart brains!!

How Can They Survive -Ms Kriss’ class -

parody of What Else Can I Do? - Animal Habitats

Intro:

Animals have adaptations

Bellies to, help them sli-ide

Polar Bears have web feet and sharp claws

And warm coats of fur

How can they survive

Huddle up huddle up

(It’s cold) huddle up huddle up

How can they survive

(It’s freezing) Huddle up huddle up

Huddle up huddle up

Verse 1:

I see wings and beaks and talons

Birds can see for miles away

Hawks eagles osprey and falcons

These birds fly ‘round every day

Pre-chorus 1:

The adaptations for the creatures living in the endless ocean

(The waves are in motion)

And octopuses camouflaging very quickly in the water

Creatures in the sea, we will let them be

Chorus:

Each animal has adaptations

Colored scales

Deadly claws

Cheetahs can’t climb cuz they have studded paws

Stay-ay-ing alive

How can they survive

Verse 2:

In the desert the plants and animals are few

Careful, it’s so hot you’ll cook like a stew

Beware the animals they might bite you

Some of them can bite us

Or they might hide from you

Bridge:

Animals find prey under rocks every day

Till the moment the sun sets at night

(How far do these holes go down)

All I know are the grasses that grow

But it’s awesome to see how they hide

How far can grass grow

Through the dirt to the skies

Let’s grow

Chorus 2:

I hear them croaking in the forest

Hummingbirds

Porcupines

Attracting pollinators with my smell

And that’s where they thrive

Pre-chorus 2:

Rainforest animals have many adaptations to survive

(Pause)

Tigers can run fast to survive in jungles and the wild

Snakes are under logs

Poisonous frogs, living in bogs

Final chorus:

I hear them croaking in the forest

Hummingbirds

Porcupines

Attracting pollinators with my smell

And that’s where they thrive

How can they survive

How can they survive

How can they survive

We Don’t Talk About Bruno parody by Ms Boldrick’s class - anima adaptations

Chorus:

Adaptations you know-ow-ow-ow-ow

Adaptations you know-ow

Verse 1:

It was a frigid day

(It was a frigid day)

We were snuggling up (pause)  but

Polar bears have thick fur to keep warm (pause)

Penguins have blubber so they can go under

Snow hares have camouflaged fur

Pre Chorus 1:

Toucans have a massive beak

And anacondas quietly sneak

Monkeys warning with a shriek

Chorus:

Adaptations you know-ow-ow-ow-ow

Adaptations you know-ow

Verse 2:

Grew to live in fear, predators hunting and grunting

Minnows petrified cuz a big fish is coming

Big teeth are crunching so you’d better hide in the sand, ch-ch-ch

Thank goodness that shark went away bubbling

Now that it’s gone we can go home running

All the fishermen are going back to land

Do you understand

Pre Chorus 2:

Snakes have sharp fangs, they hide in shady caves

Smell with their tongues and have hard scales

Yeah camels have bumps, water in their humps

Chorus:

Adaptations you know-ow-ow-ow-ow

Adaptations you know-ow

Verse 3:

Remember the megalodon, the next day extinct

Adaptations are needed or else you should rethink

Everybody needs some adaptations

So that they can survive

If you don’t have them then you won’t be alive

Bridge 1:

In the grasslands cheetahs wait all day

Tip-toeing around their prey

Zebras got stripes to confuse all the lions

They better watch out when they stray

God told me that I could survive here

Animals use their spots

To not be yummy lunch

It’s like I could see them now

Creatures have a lot of adaptations in the wild

They’re camouflaging

Pre Chorus 2:

Snakes have sharp fangs, they hide in shady caves

Smell with their tongues and have hard scales

Yeah camels have bumps, water in their humps

Chorus:

Adaptations you know-ow-ow-ow-ow

Adaptations you know-ow

We Will Rock You Parody by Ms. Nguyen’s Class

Topic: point of view - This song is the point of view of the wolf in Little Red Riding Hood & The Three Little Pigs stories

Chorus:  I am not the bad guy!

Verse 1:

Red in a hood walking through the woods.

Looking like she had some tasty pastries

Asked Red for a muffin

She gave me somethin’

Finally, I can eat something other than nothin

Verse 2:

Got to her place saw her warty old face

found Granny in the closet and she ran away

Red yelled nasty question

Gave me indigestion

Red ran away cause of all the action

Verse 3:

Feeling satisfied with my muffin

Skippin’ down to the first pig’s house a second course…

Oops! my big fat cough

Found some pork chops

This time it was a stick house that I coughed down

Verse 4:

Walking down a lane, what a pain

I see a brick house, feeling like I ate a ten pound Twix

Your brothers are dead

And now I’m fed

All locked up in the little pork’s shed

Chorus:  I’m really the bad guy!
