Place It (parody of Beat It by Michael Jackson, by Ms Center's class - topic: place value)

verse 1:
They told me how significant the value’s place
You need to know this, get that look off of your face!
You might fail the test, but that’s not the case
So place it, just place it!

You better think, you will need to be able
To find the digit’s value, put it on the table.
Hundreds, tens, and ones, then figure out the label
Just place it, and your gonna be rad!

Just place it, place it, place it, place it
Everybody wants to ace it!
Show them the value, choose the right place
If you mess up, you can erase
Just place it place it, just place it place it
Just place it place it, just place it place it

Decimals and fractions, they are really the same
They show you just a portion of everything.
Little dot in the spot, it will change the name
So place it, just place it

I went to buy some Jordans that were tight and nice
Saved up all my money, made a sacrifice
The decimal is precise, helped me figure out the price
So place it, but my money ran away.

Just place it, place it, place it, place it
Everybody wants to ace it!
Show them the value, choose the right place
If you mess up, you can erase
Just place it place it, just place it place it
Just place it place it, just place it place it
